Meet Ms. Charlotte Garnes!

I would like to introduce to you Ms. Charlotte Garnes one of our Virtual Re-Entry Conference and Resource Fair speakers.

Innovative Staffing Solutions, launched in 2020 and headed by Ms. Garnes, will staff and assist in employing formerly incarcerated/directly impacted individuals. She will also train businesses and organizations in hiring those who have been formerly incarcerated/directly impacted to ensure successful reintegration into the workforce environment. With her background in the Mental Health profession, Ms. Garnes is also a Champion for Change in educating others on the importance of mental health care after incarceration and helping others to understand the “realness” of Post Incarceration Syndrome and its affects- both personally and professionally.

She volunteers with an array of organizations, stemming from United Way to Prison to PhD. Ms. Garnes is proud to be a part of the Just Leadership 2020 Leading with Conviction Cohort. She serves as a mentor to young women across the globe who are advocates for criminal justice, social and healthcare change. Ms. Garnes also sits on the board for the Mississippi Center for Re-Entry, Liberty County Re-Entry Coalition, Carnegie Writers, and ReStore Her.
