We empower recently released non-violent Desoto County residents to reshape their futures. Our organization supports these individuals who are aiming to break their cycle of criminal thinking and behavior. We offer a range of services, including life skills training, employment support, mentorship programs, and mental health resources. Our mission is to provide the necessary tools for successful reentry into society, reducing recidivism and promoting a positive future for our clients.

PROGRAMS & SERVICES.

Our programs and services are designed to support recently released non-violent Desoto County residents in their journey towards successful reentry. We offer comprehensive life skills training, employment support, mentorship programs, mental resources, and access to vital reentry resources. Each program and service are individually tailored to address the unique needs of our clients, providing them with the necessary support to reintegrate into society and lead fulfilling lives.

Family Reunification

At the Mississippi Center for Reentry, we understand the importance of family reunification in the reentry process. Our programs focus on strengthening family bonds and facilitating the reunification of our clients with their loved ones, creating a strong support system crucial for successful reentry.

Mental Health Support

We recognize the significance of mental health in the reentry journey. Our mental health support services offer access to counseling, therapy, and support groups, addressing the psychological well-being of our clients as they transition back into the community.

Legal Advocacy

Employment Assistance

Securing employment is a critical component of successful reentry. Our employment assistance programs provide recently released non-violent Desoto County residents with the necessary tools and support to obtain and maintain gainful employment, paving the way for a stable and independent future.

Community Support

Our programs focus on equipping community members with the skills and resources needed to better understand the needs of their recently released non-violent Desoto County neighbor thus fostering a sense of belonging and purpose for the formerly incarcerated individual.
